李莉博士,中国科学院海洋研究所实验海洋生物学重点实验室研究员,青岛海洋与技术国家实验室研究员 ,国家贝类产业技术体系环境胁迫性疾病防控岗位科学家。1997年聊城大学生物系毕业,2000年获南开大学动物学硕士学位,2003年获中国科学院海洋研究所海洋生物学博士学位,分别在美国新泽西立大学(Rutgers University)和美国弗吉尼亚州立大学(Virginia Commonwealth University)完成博士论文和进行博士后研究。研究方向为贝类遗传进化与育种生物技术。近年来致力于贝类资源的保护与可持续利用,围绕贝类抗性、营养品质等主要经济和生态性状,利用基因组学、生态遗传学与分子生物学等手段,开展牡蛎等贝类重要性状分子解析、适应进化以及分子育种研究。先后主持973课题、863课题、贝类公益性项目和国家自然基金10余项国家级课题, 目前主要承担国家自然基金面上项目(长牡蛎野生群体适应性分化及其机制) 以及贝类产业技术体系环境胁迫性疾病防控。
